Young Bucks become first four-time AEW Tag Team Champions in chaotic ladder match at All Out – POST Wrestling

The Young Bucks became the first four-time AEW World Tag Team Champions by winning a three-way ladder match at All Out.

Matt & Nick Jackson defeated champions Adam Copeland & Christian Cage and FTR’s Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler, retrieving the belts after a chaotic match involving ladders, chairs and tables.

All six men brawled from the opening bell, with the champions initially using chairs before FTR and the Bucks introduced ladders into the match.

The action quickly spread around ringside. Harwood suplexed Copeland from one ladder onto another that had been bridged horizontally, while Nick later hit a 450 splash through a table on Harwood.

Cage delivered an avalanche Killswitch to Nick onto a ladder, and Copeland appeared to have an opportunity to climb for the titles until Stokely Hathaway intervened.

Hathaway struck Copeland with a low blow before throwing powder into Cage’s eyes. He then attempted to climb the ladder himself, but Copeland recovered and tipped it over, sending Hathaway through a table at ringside.

FTR responded by hitting Copeland with a spike piledriver on the apron before the Bucks delivered a Meltzer Driver to Harwood on the floor.

Matt & Nick then climbed a tall ladder positioned at ringside and simultaneously dove through tables containing Harwood and Copeland. Wheeler followed by launching himself through a ladder and crashing through another table with Cage.

All six eventually returned to the ring and climbed three ladders positioned beneath the championships.

Copeland speared Matt from one ladder, while FTR caught Nick with a Shatter Machine. Copeland & Cage then trapped Harwood’s head between the rungs of a ladder and struck him with a Con-Chair-To.

Wheeler continued climbing but was knocked down during another exchange near the top.

That left Cage fighting both Bucks high above the ring. Matt & Nick grabbed his wrists and delivered a BTE Trigger near the top of the ladder, sending Cage down to the canvas.

The Bucks then pulled down the championships to begin their fourth reign.

The victory broke the record they had shared with FTR, making Matt & Nick Jackson the first team in AEW history to hold the World Tag Team Championship four times.
