Will Ospreay retains AEW World title after interference-filled battle with Jon Moxley – POST Wrestling

Will Ospreay retained the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley in the main event of All Out after a match filled with interference from both sides.

Ospreay ultimately put Moxley away with the Hidden Blade, before the two shook hands following the match.

The champion entered alongside Mike Bailey and Francesco Akira, while Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia accompanied Moxley. Before reaching the ring, Ospreay set fire to a Death Riders flag and told the camera, “Let’s f***ing end this.”

Moxley controlled much of the opening portion, targeting Ospreay’s head, neck and fingers. A DDT onto the top turnbuckle left Ospreay bleeding before Moxley continued attacking the wound and later hit a piledriver for two.

Ospreay rallied with a Styles Clash and OsCutter, but the match then descended into interference.

Shafir grabbed Ospreay’s leg as he prepared for the Hidden Blade, while Yuta and Garcia confronted Bailey and Akira. Referee Paul Turner was subsequently knocked from the ring as Ospreay charged at Moxley.

Ospreay hit the Hidden Blade and had Moxley covered, but there was no referee to make the count.

Yuta and Garcia attacked Akira and Bailey before Bailey cleared both men from ringside. PAC then appeared and struck Bailey from behind with a briefcase.

Andrade El Idolo ran out and attacked PAC, preventing him from getting involved further. Andrade gestured toward Ospreay afterward, making clear that his intervention did not mean he had forgotten about his own future AEW World Championship opportunity.

Shafir then struck Ospreay with the briefcase and dragged Turner back into the ring, but the champion kicked out.

The ringside chaos continued when Shafir attacked Turner again.

Alex Windsor then appeared, followed by Jamie Hayter. The Brawling Birds took out Shafir with Two Birds, One Stone before both women flashed the United Empire hand gesture.

Yuta attempted to intervene but was also taken out, with Hayter diving onto members of the Death Riders at ringside.

Back in the ring, Moxley stomped Ospreay onto the briefcase and then, after appearing conflicted, struck him directly with it.

A replacement referee arrived, but Ospreay again kicked out.

Moxley followed with multiple Paradigm Shifts and a Death Rider before applying the Bulldog Choke. Ospreay refused to fade and eventually escaped by biting Moxley’s arm.

Ospreay hit another Hidden Blade and Storm Breaker, but Moxley survived.

The champion then removed his elbow pad and waited in the corner. Moxley turned his back, smiled and then faced Ospreay, who connected with one final Hidden Blade for the three-count.

After the match, Moxley briefly took the championship belt from Ospreay before returning it himself. He placed the title on Ospreay’s shoulder and offered his hand.

Ospreay accepted, and Moxley left with the Death Riders as the champion stood tall to close the show.
