Worlds Collide Is This Weekend And WWE Refuses To Say Where Fans Can Watch It

Worlds Collide returns this weekend. A PLE that will see WWE Superstars and AAA wrestlers clash in some truly unique matches. The trouble is, as it stands, unless you’re there live in the Allstate Arena, it’s unclear how exactly fans are going to be able to watch the show live.

Will Worlds Collide Be Streamed Live?

Confusion surrounding where exactly Worlds Collide will be streaming live, if anywhere, has been going on for weeks. It seemingly came to a head last week when Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that, according to WWE sources at that time, the PLE would not be livestreamed. Instead, it would be taped and available to watch on an unconfirmed platform at a later date.

Fast forward to just three days before the event is scheduled to take place, and things have become confusing all over again. Andrew Baydala claims to have been told by WWE sources that Worlds Collide will stream live on YouTube this Saturday. That claim was followed up by Wrestle Features, which pointed to Worlds Collide being listed as a PLE on the WWE website, citing that as evidence that it will stream live somewhere, likely YouTube, rather than be taped and aired on delay.

Plans Have Not Changed

Sapp has replied to Wrestle Features’ post reiterating what they and others were told by WWE and confirming that, as far as they know, and despite Baydala’s report, nothing has changed. “When I asked yesterday, I was told there were no live broadcast plans,” Sapp revealed. On the increasingly confusing Worlds Collide timing, that would mean Sapp was told Worlds Collide will not be broadcast live after Baydala is claiming he was told otherwise.

The easiest place to find out where a WWE show will be available to watch live is on its poster, whether it be YouTube, Netflix, or otherwise. Right now, the official Worlds Collide poster doesn’t include a platform where fans can watch it at home. That suggests there isn’t one, despite some claiming YouTube will be the place to be.

Worlds Collide takes place this Saturday, September 26, live from the Allstate Arena. If there is going to be anywhere you can watch it live, at this late stage, that place will have to be YouTube, despite some thinking it might be an exclusive for Club WWE subscribers. Between ESPN, Netflix, YouTube, and more, where fans need to go to watch WWE programming has been messy for a while now. This may well be the first example of a major show somehow slipping through the streaming cracks.
