Match Card, Start Time, And How To Watch

Triplemania is AAA’s biggest event of the year. It’s right there in the name which was almost certainly inspired by WrestleMania. Now AAA is owned by the company that runs WrestleMania, and this will be the second Triplemania to take place under the WWE banner. Returning to two nights, and taking place across two countries, Triplemania 34 is set to be the biggest installment in the event’s history, and we’ve got everything you need to know about it right here.

When Is Triplemania 34?

Roxanne Perez

Triplemania 34 will be a two-night event. The first night will take place this Friday, September 11, 2026. Night two will then take place two nights later, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. A 48-hour gap due to the distance between where each night will take place. The main card will begin at 10 pm ET on both nights.

Navigating where to watch different WWE events has been a bit of a headache, not to mention increasingly expensive. WWE can’t risk making AAA a part of that if it wants new fans to keep tuning in. That’s why both nights of Triplemania 34 will be available to watch live on YouTube worldwide. Nothing to pay, and no subscription needed.

Each night of Triplemania 34 will take place not only in a different city, but in a different country. Night one will air live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, marking the first time Triplemania has taken place in the US since 1996. The brand will be headed back to Mexico for night two, with Sunday’s half of the event being staged in Mexico City’s Arena CDMX.

Night One

Rey Mysterio vs. Omos

AAA

Omos doesn’t show up much in WWE, but he is a huge draw, quite literally, in foreign promotions affiliated with the company. The latest example of that is AAA, where he has been feuding with Hall of Famer and AAA general manager Rey Mysterio. Rey has had countless matches with people far bigger than him, but Omos might be the tallest opponent he has ever faced. If Omos can beat Mysterio, his AAA suspension will be lifted.

Los Psycho Circus vs. Los Perros Del Mal For The AAA World Trios Championships

trios championship match at triplemania 34.
AAA

AAA has had Trios Titles for longer than most major wrestling promotions, and for a significant chunk of the championships’ existence, Psycho Circus have held them. This current run alone will have hit 658 days by the time the titles are defended on Friday. That’s why it’s going to be a tall order for Los Perros del Mal, who haven’t held the titles since becoming the first Trios Champions in 2011, to dethrone them.

Roxanne Perez vs. Nattie vs. Faby Apache vs. La Hiedra

four way match at triplemania.
AAA

The Reina de Reinas Championship is the only active women’s title in AAA. That’s why getting a shot at it, let alone winning it, is a coveted prize in itself. Roxanne Perez, Nattie, Faby Apache, and La Hiedra will compete in four-way action at Triplemania with a shot at the title on the line. The winner will face whoever the Reina de Reinas Champion is by the time we get to World Collide on September 26.

Latino World Order vs. Los Americanos vs. Tokyo Bad Boys vs. Fraxiom

AAA

Sometimes there doesn’t need to be something tangible on the line in a wrestling match to make it a spectacle. This four-way tag match is the perfect example of that. Four of the best and most athletic tag teams WWE and AAA have to offer competing for nothing but bragging rights. It’s an elimination match too, which means pinfalls and submissions will continue until just one team remains.

La Parka vs. Laredo Kid vs. Mr. Iguana For The AAA Latin American Championship

AAA

Sometimes, all you need to do to get a title shot is ask. That’s what fan favorite Mr. Iguana did; now he has the opportunity to do something at Triplemania that he has never done before – win singles gold in AAA. The only catch is that he cannot face La Parka alone. He will have to do it in a triple threat match with his friend Laredo Kid, which might sound good, but will inevitably cause problems in the match itself.

Adelicious, Mascarita Sagrada, And Mini Vikingo vs. Lady Shani, Jack Cartwheel, And Mini Abismo Negro

Men wrestling women in WWE is largely a thing of the past, even in mixed matches where they don’t technically actually wrestle, as only the men wrestle the men and women wrestle the women. It’s still more commonplace in AAA, though, hence this six-person tag match packed with talent going down at Triplemania. I’m more interested in it being dubbed an Australian Rules match. Today I learned that’s what all tag matches were called, as the concept was conceived in Australia.

Night Two

Dominik Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano For The AAA Mega Championship

mysterio vs americano at triplemania.
AAA

Triplemania 34 will mark the first anniversary of Dominik Mysterio becoming AAA Mega Champion. That’s right, the young upstart has held the Mexican promotion’s top prize for an entire year. For a significant chunk of Mysterio’s reign, El Grande Americano was his ally. That all came to a head when the champ abandoned American in a tag match. Now the luchador will be the one who can potentially stop Mysterio’s Mega Title reign entering its second year.

Fatal Four-Way Match For The AAA Cruiserweight Championship

A challenger for Rey Fenix’s Cruiserweight Championship was supposed to be determined at Ola de Calor. Jack Cartwheel, Mini Vikingo, and Nathan Frazer wrestled to a time-limit draw, so they gave them all a shot. Fenix still has a chance to lose the title between now and then, with a title match against Ricky Saints before Sunday.

Flammer vs. La Catalina For The AAA Reina De Reinas Championship

AAA

Hold a title for almost 1,000 days, and you’re probably going to start feeling like there’s no one left who’s ever going to beat you for it. That’s why Flammer declared exactly that after 974 days as Reina de Reinas Champion. Enter La Catalina. Not only a new signee to AAA, but someone the champ has never wrestled before anywhere. Whoever wins will also know who their next challenger will be with the match to determine a number one contender taking place on night one.

El Carnicero vs. Psycho Clown In A Mexican Street Fight

carnicero vs psycho clown at triplemania.
AAA

El Carnicero has made a heck of an impact during the short time he has been at AAA. His first action was to cost Psycho Clown his chance of becoming Latin American Champion. Then, in his in-ring debut, the match ended early after he refused to stop choking his opponent. That can’t happen at Triplemania since he and Psycho Clown will compete in a Mexican Street Fight where anything goes.

15-Man Battle Royal

Every year, Triplemania plays host to a battle royal, or a copa bardahl. There’s no title on the line. You just get the honor of being that year’s battle royal winner, and it gives AAA a match to fill with wrestlers who deserve to be on the card who aren’t competing elsewhere. There will be 15 participants, but none of them have been announced.

Tag Team Match For The AAA World Tag Team Championships

The AAA Tag Team Titles will be on the line this Sunday at Triplemania. However, not only is it unclear who the challengers will be, but we don’t even know who the champions will be. The War Raiders are currently holding the belts, but they might lose them to R-Truth and Damien Priest before the weekend. Whoever wins will then have to defend the titles in an open challenge on Sunday.
