On Monday Night RAW’s September 7 edition, Bron Breakker was the first to qualify for the 2026 men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. When looking across the RAW & SmackDown rosters, there are no other clear favorites to win the match, though there are several names whose addition to the field would bring about good quality work between the ropes.

Je’Von Evans’ high-flying style is made for ladder matches, Chad Gable’s versatility and status as Intercontinental Champion can bring a lot to the bout, Trick Williams deserves a shot after his reigns as United States Champion, Ricky Saints is in dire need of a breakout performance, and Rey Fenix’s recent strong work makes him deserving of a spot in the match.

On RAW’s September 7 episode, former Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca earned her spot in the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, and she could be joined by a field full of talented names and top prospects. For instance, Raquel Rodriguez’s great work in recent times makes her a top contender, Roxanne Perez is a name showing a lot of potential and promise, Jacy Jayne has hit the ground running on SmackDown, Lash Legend can bring her powerhouse ability to proceedings, and Tiffany Stratton brings experience to the field after having previously won the contest.

Although Punk could go through each challenger as they come, the fact that they have all remained in the mix indicates that a major multi-man match could take place.

It would be very unlike WWE and Triple H’s main roster booking to put forth a match like this – but that is exactly why it would feel fresh and welcomed! A fatal five way match, a Championship Scramble, or even the popular NXT Iron Survivor stipulation could be used to create a very unpredictable title match, and to ensure that even more big names get a chance to be on the Money In The Bank 2026 card.

• It has been a while since Knight last challenged for a world title.

Roman Reigns and LA Knight have had issues stemming back several years, with Knight remaining one of the key enemies of The Bloodline throughout its many different iterations. In 2026, Knight has once again found himself matched up with the group, even though both he and The Bloodline are each technically babyfaces. For several months now, Knight has made it his mission to disrespect World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, cut him off in promos, and dish out plenty of trash talk, though they have yet to meet in the ring to settle their differences.

A match between the two for the World Heavyweight Championship is inevitable, and it will likely come at Money In The Bank 2026. In fact, a report from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select suggests that the expectation within WWE is that this match will in fact take place at Money In The Bank, giving them their first singles meeting since back at Crown Jewel 2023.
