TheSportster’s official predictions will detail the most likely winners from huge showdowns such as Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker, Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes, Baron Corbin vs. Lil Yachty, and Charlotte Flair, Tatum Paxley & Alexa Bliss vs. Jade Cargill, B-Fab & Michin.

Baron Corbin Vs. Lil Yachty (Five-Minute Challenge)
- Baron Corbin has been feuding with Trick Williams & Lil Yachty.
- This is Yachty’s in-ring debut.
- Corbin will not be defending the United States Title.
Amidst the ongoing feud between new United States Champion Baron Corbin and Trick Williams, the music star and manager of the latter, Lil Yachty, will be lacing up the boots for the first time ever, becoming the latest celebrity to step foot into a WWE ring, following in the footsteps of names such as Jelly Roll, IShowSpeed, and more. This will be a non-title five minute challenge, with Yachty needing to survive the time limit to earn Williams a shot at the men’s United States Title on the very same night.
There is no doubt that Yachty will survive the time limit, putting in a resilient performance to get the crowd hot behind him in an underdog showcase. This will lead to Williams getting an instant shot for the United States Championship, winning back the gold he lost at the SummerSlam 2026 PLE. Corbin’s reign has had some decent matches on SmackDown, but it will end in short order.
Official Sportster Prediction: Lil Yachty survives the time limit, Trick Williams wins United States Championship

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley Vs. Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab
- Flair & Cargill have been feuding for multiple months.
- Tatum Paxley recently debuted on the WWE main roster.
- Cargill & Flair lead their teams at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Following months of interfering in matches, brawling, and matches across both Friday Night SmackDown and WWE PLEs, Charlotte Flair & Jade Cargill will lead their respective teams into Sunday Night’s Main Event for a massive trios match. Cargill brings her “Baddies” Michin & B-Fab, whereas Flair will align with her pair of unhinged friends, Alexa Bliss & the recently debuted Tatum Paxley.
Although Flair already scored a victory over Cargill in a singles match on SmackDown, this match will also be won by the babyfaces, with Paxley getting handed a big win early into her main roster career, continuing her momentum and furthering her introduction to the audience. Cargill might be in need of a victory given several big losses throughout 2026 to both Flair and when she dropped the WWE Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania, another loss will come her way.
Official Sportster Prediction: Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley defeats Jade Cargill & The Baddies.

Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes
- This is a WrestleMania 42 rematch.
- Orton returned at SummerSlam to continue his feud with Rhodes.
- There will be no Pat McAfee to ruin this match.
The rivalry between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes began earlier this year, resulting in a horrible WrestleMania 42 Saturday main event for the WWE Championship which was ruined by bad booking and the involvement of Pat McAfee in their storyline. This time around it is purely about bad blood and personal tensions, with Rhodes previously losing the WWE Championship a couple of months back.
With Rhodes winning their initial meeting at WrestleMania 42 (and also winning their King Of The Ring final match a year prior at the Night Of Champions 2026 PLE), it is time for Orton to pick up a victory over Rhodes. It will likely come by an underhanded tactic and cheating on the part of the heel, but regardless Orton will stand tall at Sunday Night’s Main Event as this feud continues on throughout the remainder of 2026.
Official Sportster Prediction: Randy Orton cheats to beat Cody Rhodes
1
Oba Femi Vs. Bron Breakker
- Femi recently retired Brock Lesnar.
- Breakker & Femi are feuding over who is the future of WWE.
- This is a first-time-ever match at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Bron Breakker and Oba Femi are two of WWE’s hottest prospects, but both men feel as though the company isn’t big enough for the both of them, leading to an enjoyable program on the road to Sunday Night’s Main Event. Despite Femi on the back of retiring Brock Lesnar and Breakker recently losing to Seth Rollins, this is still a hard match to call… which is why WWE won’t call it. There have been many instances throughout every era of WWE in which the company has booked matches which the result protects both involved in the contest, and this will be another example of it.
The first meeting between Breakker & Femi, when both men are in dire need of a victory, screams of a “no contest” ending. Whether it be brawling into the crowd and for the referee to call off the action, a big spear through the stage that causes a countout (similar to a spot WWE has pulled in the past with the likes of Batista vs. The Undertaker and John Cena vs. Ryback), or interference from members of The Vision that leads to a frustrating disqualification, WWE will back out of booking a winner in this one, giving them more time to figure out their direction for this feud in the coming months.
Official Sportster Prediction: Oba Femi & Bron Breakker will wrestle to a no contest
