Britt Baker returns at AEW All In, new TBS Champion crowned

Britt Baker is back in AEW.

After an absence of almost two years, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. has returned at AEW All In 2026. In the Zero Hour of the PPV, Baker returned toward the end of the TBS title match.

In the final moments of the Maya World vs. Persephone AEW TBS Championship match, a masked individual interfered and cost World her title defense. As the masked figure shoved Maya World off the top rope, Persephone followed up with the crucifix bomb for the victory.

Soon after, the masked figure revealed themselves as Britt Baker. She followed it up by trapping World in her Lockjaw submission move. Finally, after the ambush, Baker walked away. Later, in a backstage promo, Persephone announced her new alliance with Baker and shifted their focus toward Thunder Rosa.

Baker explained that while she was away, she still kept watch on the show and chose to align with Persephone because she believed the new champion was worth her time. Baker’s last match dates back to her 13th November 2024 win over Penelope Ford.

This marks Persephone’s first reign as AEW TBS Champion. Already the CMLL World Women’s Champion, Persephone became a double champion with the win tonight.

Whereas World’s title reign lasted 35 days. She had defeated Hikaru Shida to win the title at AEW Redemption last month. In her title reign, World made two successful title defenses.
