Adam Copeland checks off Wembley Stadium from bucket list

Adam Copeland is set to perform at Wembley Stadium in London at AEW All In 2026.

Set to defend his AEW World Tag titles, Copeland and Christian Cage will take on The Young Bucks. Copeland and Cage are currently 98-days into their title reign.

Just hours before his major title defense, the former WWE Superstar opened up on his social media and checked off Wembley Stadium from his bucket list. In an emotional write-up, he also shared his thoughts on the location, the match, his opponent, and partner, Cage.

“Tomorrow another iconic venue gets checked off my list. Wembley Stadium. My first AEW [All In] Against a team I have a massive amount of respect for. A team in The Young Bucks that we thought we’d never face. That ship had sailed when they told [Christian Cage] we had to retire. Yet somehow, some way, here we are. I hope you come to have fun tomorrow. I know I will be. Soaking in every moment. Bring your voices London. Let’s tear the whole roof off,” Copeland wrote.

While Copeland ticked off Arena Mexico and Wembley Stadium from his list, it still includes Maple Leaf Gardens and Tokyo Dome, which are yet to be ticked off.

A part of AEW since 2023, Copeland has not yet performed at the All In PPV. While this year marks his first time performing at the Wembley Stadium, last year Copeland and Cage opened the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV in the O2 Arena, London.

Tony Khan says he would have supported Adam Copeland facing John Cena in WWE

Recently, Copeland had opened up and claimed that AEW President Tony Khan would have allowed him to face John Cena in his retirement tour. Later, when Metro asked Khan about Copeland’s comments, he confirmed the claims.

“I was never asked, and as far as I know, Adam was never asked, so it’s hard to say. But when there have been opportunities to collaborate, I have been collaborative in the past,” Khan said. “I never got asked, but if I had been presented a plan and the dates and the information of what was going on, yeah, I would have supported it.”
