Kelani Jordan Feels Run As TNA Knockouts World Champion Boosted Her Confidence
The TNA Knockouts World Title was once in Kelani Jordan’s possession.
From September 2025 until November of that year, WWE NXT’s Kelani Jordan reigned as the TNA Knockouts World Champion.
Jordan looked back on that title run during her appearance on Off The Ropes. She feels that reign specifically helped boost her confidence.
“I feel going to TNA really helped my confidence. I got the title in hostile territory, but I only just felt my confidence just went from here to here. When I was the North American Champion, I was more of the girl who was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m just so happy to be here…’ When I got kicked out of the locker room, that is when the light turned on. I’m like, ‘Oh, alright. Everyone’s not your friend and that’s okay.’ But, to be the best, you gotta beat the best. So, I just feel like being the Knockouts Champion was a really big turning point in my career confidence-wise and yeah, just realization like, ‘Hey, everyone’s not your friend.’”
Jordan is now aiming to become the NXT Women’s Champion. She’ll be challenging Kendal Grey for the belt at the Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th.
