Kali Armstrong Earns Her Way Into Title Unification Match At NXT Heatwave
Kali Armstrong secures her spot on the card.
As the August 25th edition of WWE NXT on The CW was ongoing, a singles match between Kali Armstrong and NXT Women’s North American Champion ZARIA took place.
The stipulation was that if Armstrong won, she would be added to the Women’s North American and WWE Women’s Speed Championship Unification match at the Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th.
The conclusion of the bout between ZARIA and Armstrong saw ZARIA lift Armstrong for her F-5 finisher, but Armstrong countered into a pin and secured the win.
The title unification match at Heatwave will now be a Triple Threat featuring Armstrong, ZARIA and Wren Sinclair.

- NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey (c) vs. Kelani Jordan
- Triple Threat Title Unification Match — NXT Women’s North American & WWE Women’s Speed Championships: ZARIA (North American) vs. Wren Sinclair (Women’s Speed) vs. Kali Armstrong
- NXT North American Championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Jackson Drake (w/ Myka Lockwood)
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Myles Borne & Tavion Heights (c) vs. Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)
- Submission Match: Nattie vs. Jaida Parker
