WWE’s Latest Popular Duo Will Save The Tag Team Division From Disaster

Despite being sworn enemies for several years throughout the Bloodline saga, WWE’s newest popular duo has emerged in recent months on Monday Night RAW in the form of LA Knight and Solo Sikoa. Although Knight & Sikoa have plenty of singles potential, the main event scene is pretty busy with top and rising stars – but there is a lot of space in the current tag team division. On both RAW & SmackDown, the tag team divisions are as bad as they’ve ever been under the creative control of Triple H, but the inclusion of Knight & Sikoa could change things around for the better.

WWE’s Tag Team Division Is A Creative Disaster

In 2026, the men’s tag team divisions across RAW & SmackDown have been an abject disaster. After a hot streak in 2025 when SmackDown’s teams were getting time to steal the show and gaining some popularity, a spree of releases and awful booking led to the complete decimation of the tag team division, leaving it bare and weak. RAW has been even worse for much longer, with a complete lack of depth or care in storytelling. The Vision are the current World Tag Team Champions in an act that is actively damaging the momentum and potential of Bron Breakker and sees Austin Theory’s unwatchable PDA with Maxxine Dupri on a weekly basis, which is simply not good television. Alpha Academy are the top contenders despite not being treated seriously for years, and The Street Profits cannot retain consistent TV time.

Over on SmackDown, The MFTs may have received a revamp but are still lacking in credibility and aura, leading a division in which the likes of R-Truth & Damian Priest are the top challengers. This is a far cry from WWE’s tag team division last year which featured talents in The New Day, Motor City Machine Guns, DIY, The Usos, and more. Things need to change, and there is emerging a duo that can really drive forth real momentum and interest in this depleted and lifeless division.

LA Knight & Solo Sikoa Can Inject Personality & Life Into Tag Team Wrestling

• WWE needs to keep Knight & Sikoa together.
• The tag team division in WWE lacks personality.
• Knight & Sikoa are more valuable as a pairing going forwards.

One of the key ingredients missing from the tag team division is personality and entertainment. Right now on Monday Night RAW, the new friendship and duo of LA Knight and Solo Sikoa are arguably the most entertaining and over pairing on the RAW roster. Their chemistry has been developing week by week, with fans buying in completely to their newfound respect, bouncing off one another with absolute ease on the microphone in their battles with The Bloodline.

Including Knight & Sikoa in the tag team division will finally bring top tier personality and energy to the struggling division – the levels of which cannot be achieved by The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, who are not over enough to generate major reactions. Although Knight & Sikoa have potential to be singles stars with their current momentum, they are way too valuable as a double act for WWE to pass by on using them to save the tag team division.

LA Knight & Solo Sikoa Can Change WWE’s Tag Team Division

• Knight & Sikoa vs. The Usos can be a major storyline.
• WWE can run something similar to Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Bloodline.
• The debut of OTM can add depth to the tag team division.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a multi-year stay in the tag team division, but having Knight & Sikoa turn their attention to the World Tag Team Championships could be invaluable for the division. The Vision needs to drop the gold very soon, and they can do so to either Knight & Sikoa or The Usos. From there, feuds involving Knight & Sikoa, The Usos, and the newly debuted OTM can carry the division for the rest of 2026 and beyond.

The Bloodline saga is currently the number one focal point on Monday Night RAW, so WWE may as well use the existing stars and those with real momentum and popularity to ensure that the World Tag Team Titles mean more. Between 2022 and 2023, the tag team division felt red hot due to the presence of The Usos, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, and The Judgment Day, with WWE utilizing defined stars with personality and hatred to make the gold mean more – the tag team division even headlined multiple PLEs during this time! WWE can get back there, and Knight & Sikoa might be the duo to get them to that place.
