Nic Nemeth added even more gold to his collection at TNA Lockdown, leaving the event as a double champion following a huge victory in the main event.

Nic teamed with his brother Ryan Nemeth to challenge Matt and Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Tag Team Championship inside the cage, with the brothers looking to bring The Hardys’ title reign to an end.

The championship battle featured several major moments, including Nic recovering from a Twist of Fate and immediately catching Jeff Hardy with a superkick. Ryan was also on the receiving end of a brutal moment when Matt Hardy came crashing down with an elbow drop that sent him through a table.

As Matt appeared ready to finish Ryan off, Nic intervened at the perfect moment. He connected with the Danger Zone on Matt, allowing the Nemeth brothers to secure the victory and become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions.

Slater officially surrendered the championship to TNA President Carlos Silva before turning his attention directly toward Nemeth.

Nic and Ryan attempted to attack Slater, but the British star managed to fight off both brothers. Lockdown then went off the air with Slater holding up Nemeth’s TNA World Championship, providing a clear preview of the major title showdown awaiting them at Bound For Glory.
