Start Time, Full Fight Card and How to Watch Live
Rolly Romero will be defending his WBA welterweight title against Teofimo Lopez at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in what is almost guaranteed to be an entertaining fight.
The two have sparred together and are now on opposite sides of the ring for a world title.
Start Time And Ringwalk For The Main Event
The pay-per-view main event, which is being promoted by PBC, will start at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on both DAZN and Prime Video.
Prime members can watch the prelims earlier in the afternoon. Regarding the main event, the ring walks are scheduled for about 11 p.m. ET, although this is always dependent on how fast the undercard progresses.
Lopez Makes His Welterweight Debut
Tonight Lopez makes his debut in the welterweight division, marking the second time in his career that he has moved up in weight. Like his move from lightweight, he made the decision after a loss.
Lopez just suffered a decisive decision defeat at the hands of Shakur Stevenson in January, his second professional loss, and if he wins this fight he will become a three division champion.
Romero, on the other hand, is fighting following what is arguably the best victory of his career, having won by a clear decision against Ryan Garcia in May last year, and this bout is being fought in his adopted hometown where he is the underdog.
On Friday during the weigh-in both men reached the required weight without any problems, Romero weighing 146.6 pounds and Lopez exactly at the 147-pound limit.
Even though there is history between them, the amount of trash talk prior to this fight has been fairly light, they know each other too well for that. The fighter who wins this bout is expected to be in contention for a bigger unification match in the welterweight division later this year or in early 2027 against probably none other than ‘Deebo’ Haney.
