‘There’s Nothing I Love More Than Making Grown Men Cry’

WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne has fully embraced life in WWE as a heel. The star portrayed a villain in “WWE NXT,” and when she was called up to the main roster, alongside Fatal Influence stablemates Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, the crowd’s boos were loud. Following her title victory over Tiffany Stratton, Jayne appeared on “Notsam Wrestling,” where she spoke more on her championship win and how much she loves being a heel.

“They love to hate me, and I thrive on that,” she said. “There’s nothing I love more than making grown men cry. I was on ‘NXT’ for five years. I was just waiting for my moment, waiting for my opportunity. So when I got there, I felt oddly comfortable. Yes, I was nervous, but I knew I belonged from the second I got up there. There was no doubt in my mind. Of course, you have the butterflies right before you go out, but there was never any doubt I was ready.”

Jayne said that she, Henley, and Reid had a plan when they were called up to the blue brand, and they stuck to it. Reid and Henley won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in July. As for the near-constant boos for the stable, Jayne says she’s always gravitated toward heels, and she’s “been a bad guy since day one.”

“I feel like in this day and age, people are kind of sensitive, so they want to get cheered, even the bad guys,” she said. “I don’t want to be cheered. I want you to try and attack me in the parking lot. That’s the kind of heat I want.”
