AAA Mega Championship contract signing added to Ola de Calor
AAA has announced a contract signing between Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano ahead of their AAA Mega Championship match.
At AAA Triplemania 34 in September 2026, Mysterio will defend his AAA Mega title against El Grande Americano. Holding the title for over 340 days, Mysterio will finally put it on the line at the upcoming PLE.
However, ahead of their scheduled bout, the two will meet at AAA Ola de Calor on August 30, 2026. At AAA Ola de Calor, Mysterio and Americano will sign the contract for their Mega title match. AAA general manager Rey Mysterio is set to moderate the contract signing between the two.
Americano had previously earned the title shot by winning the Rey de Reyes in March, defeating La Parka, Santos Escobar, and The Original El Grande Americano.
Mysterio and Grande Americano engaged in a rivalry after the champion turned his back on Americano at Verano de Escandalo during their match against Perros del Mal.
