WWE WrestleMania 42 Attendance Figures Revealed For Both Nights Wrestling News Source – Latest WWE, AEW, Pro Wrestling News, AEW All In: London 2026 Results
New attendance data has provided a clearer picture of how many fans were inside Allegiant Stadium for WWE WrestleMania 42 across its two nights in Las Vegas.
According to figures first obtained by POST Wrestling from the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, WrestleMania 42 recorded a combined attendance of 97,126 over April 18 and April 19.
The official Stadium Authority breakdown lists 47,093 attendees for Night One, followed by 50,033 for Night Two.
While the total is below the figure promoted by WWE following the event, the difference is relatively modest. WWE announced a combined attendance of 106,072 and described WrestleMania 42 as “one of the highest-grossing events in company history.”
Despite that financial success, WrestleMania 42 did not match the numbers generated when WWE brought its biggest event to the same venue one year earlier.
WrestleMania 41, also staged at Allegiant Stadium, drew a reported combined attendance of 118,641, consisting of 58,538 fans on the opening night and 60,103 on the second night.
The decline between 2025 and 2026 was even referenced during WWE programming in the build toward WrestleMania 42. Pat McAfee incorporated the situation into storyline commentary, claiming that he and Randy Orton would “save pro wrestling” by having Orton dethrone Cody Rhodes.
One potential factor behind the decrease was WWE’s decision to stage WrestleMania in Las Vegas for a second consecutive year.
WWE President Nick Khan previously acknowledged the challenges that can come with returning to the same WrestleMania host city in back-to-back years. Khan suggested the experience could influence the company’s approach moving forward, with WWE potentially avoiding consecutive WrestleManias in the same market.
There will be a major change of scenery for WWE’s biggest event next year.
WrestleMania 43 is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, continuing WWE’s long-running relationship with Saudi Arabia that began in 2018.
The event is expected to take place in April 2027, although WWE has yet to announce an exact date.
WrestleMania 43 will also make history as the first WrestleMania ever staged outside the United States or Canada.
