Women’s World title defense signed for AEW Collision
After successfully defending her TBS title in a four-way on Wednesday’s Dynamite, Maya World can change the face of AEW All In as well.
In a backstage segment, AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale praised World after the win and then offered her a shot at the title at this Saturday’s Collision which was quickly accepted.
This will be their first-ever singles match in AEW but they did go one-on-one last November for West Coast Pro Wrestling out of California.
Nightingale, who had a brawl with Mercedes Mone during Dynamite, is set to defend against Mone in one of the featured matches at Wembley Stadium.
The new addition joins the previously announced quarterfinal matches in the Continental Challenge Cup tournament with the winners moving on to next Wednesday’s Dynamite from Glasgow, Scotland.
