Latest on Roman Reigns’ possible WWE Money in the Bank challenger
Roman Reigns could be facing LA Knight at WWE Money in the Bank.
WrestleVotes on Fightful Select reported on Thursday that there is a “strong sense internally” that Knight will challenge Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the October 10 PLE in New Orleans.
Should the match take place, it would be only the second time Reigns and Knight have met in singles competition. Their first singles match took place at Crown Jewel on November 4, 2023, where Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship thanks in part to interference from Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
Knight received another opportunity at Reigns’ championship at the Royal Rumble on January 27, 2024, competing in a four-way match against Reigns, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton. Reigns again retained the title in that match.
