Best of 5 Series – Match 1: Motor City Machine Guns def. FTR
The main card ignited with the opening clash of the highly anticipated Best of 5 series between FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). After frantic tag attempts and ringside interference from Stokely Hathaway—who accidentally decked Dax Harwood when Sabin ducked—Sabin connected with a vicious springboard DDT for a nearfall.
FTR attempted a stuffed piledriver on Sabin, but Sabin kicked out at the last microsecond. As Cash tagged back in aiming for a Shatter Machine, Shelley intercepted Dax, sending him tumbling to the arena floor before the Guns executed a thunderous double-team suplex on Cash Wheeler for the pinfall at 18:42, giving MCMG a crucial 1-0 series advantage.
AEW Women's World Championship: Mercedes Moné def. Thekla
Thekla made a menacing entrance flanked by the Toxic Spider before taking the fight straight to 'The CEO' Mercedes Moné, who was still sporting a protective facial mask from earlier nose injuries. The challenger dictated the pace with unorthodox spider walks, tarantula rope submissions, and a diving double stomp onto Moné's spine.
The climax arrived when Thekla locked in her vicious Spider's Hook headscissors. Moné forced a rope break, then cleverly unclasped her protective face mask and blasted Thekla across the jaw behind the referee's blind spot! Moné swiftly transitioned into the Money Maker, driving Thekla down for the three-count to retain the Women's World Championship.
Grudge Match: Nick Wayne def. Chris Jericho
In their rubber match, Chris Jericho entered to massive nostalgic 'Y2J' chants before the 19-year-old prodigy Nick Wayne spat directly in his face. The battle spilled outside with Jericho hitting a fireman's carry slam onto the steel steps and snapping a photograph with a ringside camera.
In a comical yet heated sequence, Nick tried a low blow on Jericho, only for Jericho to laugh it off, revealing he wore an athletic cup. Jericho clobbered Wayne with the cup until the referee confiscated it. Jericho then landed a low blow of his own and went for the Judas Effect, but Wayne ducked with lightning agility, cradling Jericho tight for the shocking three-count—beating the wrestling legend for the second time in under a month!
AEW World Tag Team Championship: Young Bucks def. Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight
Matthew and Nicholas Jackson defended their gold against Don Callis Family proteges Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight in an all-out sprint of innovative offense. Knight electrified the arena with a UFO splash and coast-to-coast dropkicks, while Fletcher hit a sheer-drop brainbuster on Nick Jackson for a heart-stopping two count.
As the challengers set up their final offensive salvo, the Young Bucks outsmarted Knight by whipping Fletcher directly into his oncoming partner, instantly capitalizing with a synchronized BTE Trigger on Knight to secure the pinfall and retain their tag team titles.
Four-Way TBS Championship: Persephone def. Dani Luna, Queen Aminata & Hyan
A relentless four-way sprint with non-stop nearfalls. Queen Aminata rocked Dani Luna with Chocolate Kisses, while Hyan landed a flurry of spears and a crisp Falcon Arrow. With all three challengers battered outside and inside, Persephone scaled the top turnbuckle and nailed a picture-perfect moonsault press on Hyan to retain the TBS Championship. Following the bell, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. appeared on the entrance ramp, locking eyes with the champion in a tense staredown.
AEW National Championship: Andrade El Idolo def. Tommaso Ciampa
With the Orlando crowd hysterically chanting for Andrade to take off his suit pants, Ciampa embraced the madness. In one of the most memorable visual gags in pay-per-view history, Ciampa delivered 'Project Ciampa' directly onto Andrade's discarded pants and demanded the referee count the fall, with the pants humorously 'kicking out' at two!
Back to serious business, Ciampa attempted to use the National Championship belt as a weapon, but Andrade intercepted with a lightning spike DDT and followed up with the devastating DM for the pinfall, retaining both his National Championship and his guaranteed future AEW World Title contract.
AEW World Trios Championship (2 Out of 3 Falls): 'Hangman' Adam Page & Brodido def. Swerve Strickland & The New Level — NEW CHAMPIONS!
This epic 2 Out of 3 Falls clash brought immense storytelling and animosity. Fall 1 went to the champions when Austin Creed and Kofi isolated Bandido, allowing Kofi to connect with a guillotine leg drop. Fall 2 saw the challengers equalize after Brody King tossed Bandido into a gravity-defying low 450 splash on Swerve Strickland.
In Fall 3, Swerve attempted Big Pressure on Bandido, but the masked marvel countered mid-air into an inescapable pinning bridge for the 1-2-3! The Addition Financial Arena erupted as 'Hangman' Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido were crowned NEW AEW World Trios Champions. An irate Swerve Strickland refused to accept the loss, arguing bitterly with New Level before dropping the trios title belt disdainfully onto the canvas.
Former WWE Superstar Ilja Dragunov Debuts in AEW: 'The Mad Dragon' is All Elite!
In one of the evening's biggest surprises, Renee Paquette introduced the newest acquisition of All Elite Wrestling. The iconic rhythmic metronome began ticking over the arena audio system as the graphic flashed across the giant screen, unveiling ILJA DRAGUNOV! The Orlando faithful gave Dragunov a deafening standing ovation as 'The Mad Dragon' charged the ring, soaking in the thunderous welcome and officially planting his flag in AEW.
AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley def. Mark Davis via Technical Submission
A brutal, blood-soaked war that exemplified old-school violence. Don Callis Family's Mark 'Dunkzilla' Davis opened a deep laceration on Moxley's forehead and literally bit into the open wound, drawing chants of 'you sick f--k' from the crowd. Davis later spiked Moxley with a sickening piledriver onto the ring apron edge.
Spurred on by ringside pep talks from Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia, Moxley battled back through torrential blood. After a King Kong lariat and a Paradigm Shift that Davis somehow kicked out of, Moxley locked in a ferocious rear-naked sleeper hold, wrapping his legs around Davis until the big man faded unconscious, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
AEW World Championship (Clockwork Carnage Match): Will Ospreay (c) Retains in Final Seconds Thriller
The revolutionary Clockwork Carnage structure entered 8 competitors in 3-minute intervals: #1 Will Ospreay, #2 Konosuke Takeshita, #3 'Speedball' Mike Bailey, #4 Ricochet, #5 Darby Allin, #6 Kazuchika Okada, #7 Adam Copeland, and #8 Samoa Joe.
During the entry elimination phase, Takeshita eliminated Mike Bailey with a Power Drive Knee, before Kazuchika Okada blindsided Takeshita with a Rainmaker to eliminate the Alpha.
Once Samoa Joe entered at #8, the 15-minute Iron Man scoring period officially commenced, resulting in an unprecedented flurry of falls:
Winner and STILL AEW World Champion: Will Ospreay! An incensed Samoa Joe paced the ramp, having run out of time. In the ring, a dejected Adam Copeland pushed Ospreay before extending a hand of pure mutual respect. Ospreay accepted, holding the World Title high to an arena-wide ovation as WrestleDream 2026 concluded.
