Jacy Jayne Says She 'Felt Naked' Without A Championship Before Winning The WWE Women's US Title - Fightful

Jacy Jayne reflects on capturing the WWE Women’s United States Championship, noting that she felt naked before winning the title.

Since making her WWE main roster debut alongside the rest of Fatal Influence, Jacy has been chasing the top of the WWE SmackDown roster, and on the August 14th edition of SmackDown, would capture the WWE Women’s United States Championship, defeating Tiffany Stratton. Now, she is set to compete in the WWE Women’s Money In The Bank match later tonight.

While speaking to Outkick in a new interview, Jacy Jayne spoke about ‘feeling naked’ without a championship belt on the main roster.

“Oh, I love it. You know, it felt really weird not having a title, because I had a title for so long before I came up [to SmackDown]. I felt naked, like, ‘Ugh, I don’t feel like me.’ Then I won this off Tiffany Stratton and I feel whole again.”

Jacy also spoke about the other members of Fatal Influence capturing gold on the main roster.

“I felt like a, especially with Lainey because she’s so new coming into this (and) hasn’t been wrestling that long, I felt like a proud mom watching her win the title,” she told OutKick Dropkick. “I feel like I’ve seen them also struggle and doubt themselves. Everyone has their ups and downs, it’s inevitable. So, when you see people that you care about get to the next level and win, it’s very special and I’m glad to be a part of it.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Jacy spoke about her plans should she win the Money In The Bank briefcase. You can read more about that here.
