Every Custom Money In The Bank Briefcase Design, Ranked

There have been a large number of Money In The Bank winners across WWE’s history, with the now iconic ladder match being over twenty years old. However, not every Mr or Ms Money In The Bank is afforded the honor of being given a customized briefcase design by WWE.

Out of those who have been given their own personalised Money In The Bank briefcase after ascending the ladder, some of the designs have been far better than others. Whether it be logos, paint jobs, or completely new materials, there have been both iconic designs that will be forever loved, and lazy ones that we’d rather forget.

Mr. Kennedy

• He won the Money In The Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 23.
• Kennedy never cashed in the briefcase.
• His Money In The Bank briefcase had his logo on the front.

Mr. Kennedy was on the receiving end of a custom briefcase, though it wasn’t anything special. The black case had his “KK” logo on the front, but it looked as though it had been lazily added on with a big sticker.

Much like his lacklustre design, Mr. Kennedy’s time as Mr. Money In The Bank came to an end when he dropped the contract to Edge, never getting a chance to capitalize on his opportunity.

Edge

• Edge won the Money In The Bank contract from Mr. Kennedy.
• He defeated The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship.
• Edge’s Rated-R logo was on his briefcase.

Edge became the first man to hold the Money In The Bank briefcase on two different occasions, and the second time around he was given a custom design. The design was simply a black case with his logo painted on the front, but it looked slicker than Mr. Kennedy’s at the very least.

Edge went on to cash-in the Money In The Bank contract successfully for a second time, this time winning the World Heavyweight Championship from The Undertaker.

CM Punk

• CM Punk won his first Money In The Bank at WrestleMania 24.
• He cashed in on Edge to win the World Heavyweight Title.
• Punk’s custom design had his logo on the briefcase.

Out of all the plain black briefcase designs which featured a wrestler’s logo, CM Punk’s was arguably the best. With a splash of Chicago colour, Punk’s briefcase was simple and smart.

CM Punk went on to defeat Edge for the World Heavyweight Title, before winning the briefcase in back-to-back years at WrestleMania 24 & 25.

Damian Priest

• Priest won the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match in 2023.
• He cashed in on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40.
• Priest had the Judgment Day color scheme on his briefcase.

Any personalised title or item is always welcomed, but creativity is also appreciated. In the case of Damian Priest, his custom Money In The Bank briefcase lacked much creativity – it was simply just a purple version of the original, with the word “Senor” slapped on front.

It still looked decent but there were other designs which were far better. Priest became the second wrestler to ever cash in the contract at a WrestleMania when he defeated Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Title.

Brock Lesnar

• Lesnar won the 2019 men’s Money In The Bank.
• He defeated Seth Rollins to become the new Universal Champion.
• Lesnar’s briefcase became a boombox.

Brock Lesnar’s Money In The Bank victory was negatively received by fans, but he managed to turn the opinion of many by his use of the briefcase as a boombox, rocking out to the music in various humorous segments.

The briefcase design remained mostly consistent to the original, though one side had speakers which allowed Lesnar to dance around the ring.

RVD

• RVD became Mr. Money In The Bank at WrestleMania 22.
• His color scheme was painted on his custom briefcase.
• RVD beat John Cena to win the WWE Title.

The first ever customized Money In The Bank briefcase came in the form of RVD’s colourful number, spray-painting his prize with blues and greens, along with his name and logo.

This is among the coolest of Money In The Bank briefcase designs, especially whenever he wore matching gear. RVD went on to successfully cash-in his contract to defeat John Cena, becoming the new WWE Champion.

Naomi

• Naomi won the women’s ladder match in 2025.
• She beat Iyo Sky & Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match.
• Naomi’s “caution” gimmick was sprawled across his custom briefcase design.

Naomi turned heel in 2025, allowing her the momentum to climb the ladder and win the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match. It wasn’t long until she was given a custom design for her briefcase, implementing the caution tape which had made up her recent gear. She would also go on to fill the briefcase with a manner of sadistic components, becoming one of the first to actually use the briefcase as luggage.

Naomi’s successful cash-in came at the Evolution PLE, winning the Women’s World Title from Iyo Sky.

Tiffany Stratton

• Stratton became Ms. Money In The Bank in 2024.
• She beat Nia Jax to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
• Stratton’s briefcase became a pink handbag.

WWE went all in on Tiffany Stratton’s Money In The Bank briefcase, making it fully themed to her gimmick. Stratton sported a pink & gold briefcase which sparkled and shined, and even had a strap attached to make it into the style of a handbag.

This was very unique and welcomed by the WWE fans, and it is up there with the very best of the best custom designs in WWE history. Stratton used her handbag-style briefcase to become the brand new WWE Women’s Champion, ousting Nia Jax for the prize.

Damien Sandow

• Sandow won the SmackDown Money In The Bank ladder match in 2013.
• Sandow failed in his Money In The Bank cash-in.
• This Money In The Bank briefcase was turned into a leather briefcase.

Damien Sandow’s Money In The Bank briefcase wasn’t just painted or featured a logo – it completely changed material and became a leather briefcase, matching his upper class, intellectual gimmick to perfection.

It was a darn shame that Sandow failed his cash-in, losing to John Cena in 2013 when trying to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Regardless, Sandow’s custom briefcase was one of the best in history.
