On the road to the Money In The Bank 2026 PLE, WWE took over the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the September 28 edition of Monday Night RAW. The show featured some notable singles matches such as Lyra Valkyria vs. Iyo Sky, Dragon Lee vs. Big Cass, Lola Vice vs. Roxanne Perez, and more, but which match was the best on the show?

TheSportster’s rating system will take a look across the entire match card for the latest episode of Monday Night RAW to determine the best bout across the night, the weakest showcase on display, and how everything stacked up in between throughout the broadcast.

Roxanne Perez Vs. Lola Vice

Overall Rating From TheSportster: 6/10

Two women set to compete in the 2026 women’s Money In The Bank ladder match battled in singles action on Monday Night RAW this week, continuing some of their bad blood which also exists over in AAA, where Perez recently became number one contender for the Reinas De Reinas Title. Unfortunately for these two young and rising names, much of this match had messy transitions, awkward grappling, and a lack of fluidity, likely brought about by the fact that this was Vice’s first ever singles match on Monday Night RAW.

Perez took control of the contest thanks to throwing Vice into the steel steps, but the babyface managed to get herself back into the mix with some rear-ended attacks. Before the match could ever really gain much momentum, Vice hit a spinning backfist out of nowhere to pick up a clean victory. There were instances in which these two showed some decent intensity and hard-hitting strikes, but it wasn’t enough to save a disappointing bout.

Big Cass Vs. Dragon Lee

Overall Rating From TheSportster: 7.25/10

After missing out on qualification for the Money In The Bank ladder match, both Big Cass & Dragon Lee sought to rebuild some momentum on Monday Night RAW in singles action. Not only that, but Lee wanted revenge for an attack that the returning Cass dished out several weeks back. This ran a typical “David vs. Goliath” structure, with Cass’ size allowing him to take control and slow down the high-flying star, with Lee needing to work from below and use his speed and ability to try and chop down the larger competitor.

The match really entered into the next gear when Lee sparked a comeback, using his infectious and entertaining in-ring work to get the crowd rocking. The latter stages of the match saw both men trade momentum, dish out some big moves, and hit impressive reversals, all ending with a roll-up victory for Lee, who escaped with a last-ditch win. Cass & Lee showcased very impressive chemistry here in a match that got better and better as it continued.

Penta & Je’Von Evans Vs. The Judgment Day

Two men who have problems with The Judgment Day, Penta & Je’Von Evans, teamed up to take on Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh this week on Monday Night RAW. This was a very by-the-book tag team match which saw the high-flying babyfaces run wild and get the crowd on their feet, before the heelish duo attempted to cut them off, slow down the action, and build up to crowd-pleasing hot tags.

Both Evans & Penta were on fire in their various sprees of offense, doing a tremendous job and ensuring that this match had a good atmosphere. In the latter stages, Evans hit his now signature dive over the barricade, and looked to build enough momentum to win the match… only to inadvertently hit an OG Cutter on Penta. McDonagh & Mysterio took advantage with a headbutt and 619… for a two count! Joe Hendry made his presence known to continue his feud with Judgment Day, distracting McDonagh with more jibes about his head size. All the chaos allowed Penta to hit a destroyer on Mysterio for what was a cheap win in a weak ending.

Iyo Sky Vs. Lyra Valkyria

Both Iyo Sky & Lyra Valkyria missed out on qualification for Money In The Bank 2026, so they each looked to fire back with a win on Monday Night RAW. As expected, Sky & Valkyria went back-and-forth in a well-wrestled matchup that featured good technical work, impactful strikes, big moves, and a crowd who got more and more into the action as it continued, most in part thanks to Sky’s babyface energy.

Valkyria hit a big suplex onto the ring apron, before then landing awkwardly on her foot and selling the damage… only to miss a kick on the ring post in an awkward mishap in which was almost definitely supposed to connect. Regardless, they still continued to have a strong matchup, but it wasn’t long until Bayley showed up to distract Valkyria, continuing their feud. Sky caught her opponent mid air with a kick, before connecting with her Over The Moonsault to stand tall.
