Penta, Roxanne Perez qualify for 2026 WWE Money in the Bank matches on Raw – POST Wrestling

Penta is heading to Money in the Bank.

Penta might’ve come up short against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns last week, but is now only one win away from getting another shot at his title.

The prominent luchador qualified for this year’s men’s Money in the Bank match during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The win puts him through to a six-way ladder match, which gives the winner a title opportunity at any time or place over the next year.

Penta wasn’t originally scheduled to appear as part of tonight’s qualifier, although plans changed just minutes before the main event. Solo Sikoa was attacked by Royce Keys’ 946 faction while on his way to the ring, eventually getting loaded into an SUV and driven away from the arena.

With Sikoa kidnapped and nowhere to be seen, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made the short-notice decision to put Penta in his spot in a match also featuring Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

Catching Mysterio with a Mexican Destroyer, Penta scored a pinfall win to close the show. The upcoming bout will be his second time competing in the yearly ladder match.

We learned in recent weeks that Trick Williams, Bron Breakker and Je’Von Evans will also compete in this year’s men’s ladder match. Two more spots will be decided through upcoming qualifiers.

On the women’s side of qualifying action, Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez advanced in a triple threat bout involving IYO SKY and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina.

After SKY took out Catalina with her Over the Moonsault finisher, Perez capitalized on the moment. She caught the former world champ off guard, hitting SKY with a Pop Rox for the pinfall victory.

Perez will be appearing in her second-ever Money in the Bank match next month. She made her debut in the annual bout last year.

This year’s women’s match will also feature Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, and two other yet-to-be-confirmed talents.

Qualifiers will continue on this Friday’s episode of Smackdown. It has already been revealed that a men’s match this weekend will see CM Punk, Gunther, and Finn Balor face off for a spot in the ladder match.
