Chelsea Green has shown that she is willing to do anything and everything in her power to make any WWE show that she’s on as good as it possibly can be. This level of dedication, lack of ego, and willingness to go the extra mile has ultimately seen her become one of the most over and popular wrestlers on the current day WWE roster and the reigning and defending WWE Women’s Champion. There was one point in time in which Green could’ve gone a step further in showcasing her sheer loyalty and dedication to her craft, once pitching herself to be shaven bald.

Chelsea Green has had her face buried in cake, been submerged into a dumpster, and fallen off the tallest of tall ladders over the last few on the WWE main roster, maximizing her efforts to be the butt of the joke and put babyfaces over. In a recent interview, Green revealed that she was prepared to sacrifice her hair solely for the good of the show. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Green revealed her pitches for a hair vs. hair match with Nikki Bella at WrestleMania (h/t F4WOnline).
“I’m so serious that I pitched it for both WrestleManias in Vegas versus Nikki Bella. I’ll lose. I’ll shave my head. I already have a husband. I’m not dating with a shaved head. I have a huge forehead. I would look like a peanut, but my husband loves me, and he also was like, ‘Yeah, do it, whatever. That’d be so cool.’ He’s such a student of the game. He would love it. He would love knowing that I did something that would be history-making, right?”
Chelsea Green No Longer Wants To Shave Her Head

The reason behind Chelsea Green’s “desire” to shave her head was all about elevating the United States Championship – the belt of which she was the inaugural holder. Green’s reign was very underwhelming, failing to create many lasting memories before she dropped the prize far too soon in a move that fans and Green alike were pretty disheveled about. Green went on to detail that she isn’t as open to shaving her head now that she isn’t the US Champion, with the point of her baldness now being less necessary as she is both a babyface and as the WWE Women’s Champion.
“No, I like my hair now… I’m the WWE Women’s Champion, I’m not shaving my head. No, I’m kidding. I think I would. But now it was like I wanted to, I so badly wanted to make the US Title something special. I don’t know that I was able to do that in my two reigns, but I think had I been able to have that feud with Nikki and shave my head, I think it would have cemented the US Title as something that wasn’t underneath this (Women’s Championship) title.”
Chelsea Green Has Made Many Wild WWE Pitches

Chelsea Green is no stranger to absurd and wild pitches, with the WWE Unreal Netflix series revealing a pitch that would have seen Green enter the Royal Rumble match at number 30, by which time every other competitor had been eliminated, crowning her as the immediate Royal Rumble victor, though this did not end up happening. Given her role as a cowardly, comedic heel at the time, this would have been the perfect way to hand her a memorable and historic win in a very unique way.
In the same interview that Green revealed her baldness intentions, she also discussed another Royal Rumble idea. She stated that to further elevate the women’s United States & Intercontinental Titles above their current standing, she wanted the Royal Rumble winner to also have the option to choose to go after a midcard belt at WrestleMania, rather than just a world title… although we’re not sure this is an idea that should ever stick, as it would make zero sense for any wrestler to give up a shot at a world championship in favor of a lesser prize. In defense of Green, not every idea is going to be genius.
