Sting’s Son Steven Borden Set for First Televised AEW Match Wrestling News Source – Latest WWE, AEW, Pro Wrestling News, Sunday Night’s Main Event Results

Sting’s son Steven Borden is stepping into the AEW television spotlight.

Borden will wrestle his first televised AEW match on September 9, teaming with TNT Champion Darby Allin against Mark Davis and Josh Alexander on Dynamite.

The special “Rebel Heart” episode will honour Tanea Brooks following her terminal ALS diagnosis. AEW will donate to I AM ALS and Team Gleason, with 100% of profits from special Rebel Heart shirts and bracelets also supporting the organisations.

Borden has already competed on the independent scene and in untelevised AEW matches, but Wednesday brings his biggest opportunity yet.

It also brings a chance for payback. After Allin defeated Davis on September 2, RPG Vice attacked the champion. Borden rushed to help, only to be ambushed by a returning Alexander before Davis delivered a piledriver.

That followed Borden’s appearance at All In in London, where he joined Sting in helping Allin win the TNT Championship from Kevin Knight and took a daring dive from a ladder.

Borden first made an impression during Sting’s retirement match at Revolution 2024, appearing as the Wolfpac version of his father alongside brother Garrett. That experience helped inspire him to pursue wrestling.

Since then, he has trained with Allin and received guidance from Adam Copeland, FTR and Fred Rosser. Now, he gets his chance to show a television audience what he can do.
