Bayley Makes Shocking WWE Raw Return, Costs Lyra Valkyria Money in the Bank Qualifier

Bayley is officially back, and she wasted little time making her presence felt.

After being absent from WWE television for several weeks, Bayley made her surprise return during this week’s episode of WWE Raw, costing Lyra Valkyria a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match in the process.

Valkyria was competing against Sol Ruca and Maxxine Dupri in a qualifying match when Bayley suddenly appeared at ringside. The match was approaching its conclusion, with Valkyria taking control after sending Ruca to the outside and hitting Dupri with the Nightwing.

Valkyria appeared to have the match won after covering Dupri, but Bayley pulled the referee out of the ring, preventing the three-count.

The distraction proved costly.

Valkyria turned her attention toward Bayley, allowing Ruca to capitalize. Ruca hit Valkyria with the Sol Snatcher before scoring the pinfall victory and becoming the first woman to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Bayley wasn’t finished.

Following the match, Bayley went after Valkyria, seemingly intent on continuing their rivalry, but Valkyria managed to escape before Bayley could get her hands on her.

The return marks Bayley’s first WWE television appearance since her loss to Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event in July. Now, with Bayley seemingly targeting Valkyria once again, their unfinished business could be far from over.

Meanwhile, Sol Ruca has officially punched her ticket to Money in the Bank.

WWE Money in the Bank is scheduled for October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event will stream on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and Netflix internationally.
