Bill Dundee dead at age 82

Pro wrestling legend Bill Dundee (William Cruickshanks) died on Sunday morning at age 82. Conrad Thompson shared the news via Twitter/X. The cause of death was not disclosed.
Powell’s POV: Dundee died on Sunday morning around 3:20 CT, according to WMC Action News 5. Bill’s son, Jamie Dundee, revealed in recent years that his father was battling dementia. Bill was a star in the Memphis territory and was honored a day before his death on the Memphis Wrestling television show. He was also a highly successful booker in Memphis, Georgia, and for Bill Watts’ Mid-South Wrestling. My condolences to Jamie, the rest of the family, and to his many fans and friends.
