PJ Vasa has confirmed that she has left WWE as the latest round of NXT departures continues.
Vasa, whose real name is Penina Tuilaepa, announced the news on social media on Friday afternoon, just hours after reports emerged that WWE had started making cuts to its NXT roster.
Despite the disappointment, Vasa shared an uplifting message as she thanked WWE for giving her an opportunity in professional wrestling.
“God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good! Fa’afetai I le atua. Thank you @WWE for opening the door for me into pro wrestling…what a journey! Looking forward to more motion, more blessings, more life.”
Vasa ended the post with the hashtag “#30days,” appearing to reference the 30-day non-compete period traditionally given to released NXT talent. Main roster departures usually carry a 90-day period.
Vasa began her wrestling career in 2025 and appeared across all three seasons of WWE LFG. She initially competed under her real name before adopting the PJ Vasa ring name.
She reached the final of the second season but finished as runner-up after losing to Skylar Rae. Vasa also appeared on WWE Main Event in August 2025, where she faced Ivy Nile.
Her announcement followed the departure of fellow WWE LFG competitor Jasper Troy. The first-season winner confirmed earlier on Friday that he had also left WWE after recently being absent from NXT television.
