Andrade El Idolo expressed no disdain towards Roman Reigns, The Usos and the rest of their family while answering a fan’s questions on social media.

El Idolo responded to a fan’s post on X questioning why he switched promotions from AEW to WWE in 2024, if the ‘Samoan guys’ were holding him back. He cited wanting to work with Charlotte Flair in WWE a factor in his decision to return to WWE and indicated that Roman Reigns and the bloodline treated him well without naming them.

“1 I wanted to work with my ex-wife.

2 No! They always treated me great.

3 AEW is the best wrestling company and respects all wrestling styles; the company is less than 10 years old and features wrestlers from all over the world, they give everyone a chance.

I’m tranquilo, happy, and focused on AEW,” responded El Idolo.

El Idolo returned to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble after nearly three years away. He remained with the company for barely a year before transitioning back to AEW. At All In last weekend, El Idolo won the Casino Gauntlet match to earn an AEW World Championship opportunity.

Over the past few years, Reigns and The Usos have taken over WWE, which is what the fan likely meant by ‘Samoan guys’. Their family drama has dominated the main event leaving fans caught in the middle of debates on their stature in the company.
