Weekend TV Guide: AEW All In weekend begins – POST Wrestling

AEW will get the largest spotlight this weekend, presenting one of the biggest wrestling events of the year with All In. But, there’s so much more than that goliath Wembley Stadium event going down this weekend. There are many shows leading up to AEW across England over the next two days, plus some action going down stateside and in Japan worth highlighting. Here are 10 shows going down this weekend, plus where and when to catch each program.

Friday

MARIGOLD Dream Star Grand Prix 2026 Opening Night / 5 a.m. ET / Wrestle Universe

This morning, MARIGOLD’s third-ever Dream Star Grand Prix tournament kicked off from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. This year’s tournament sees 24 women compete across four different round robin groups over the next month, culminating with single elimination matches in September. While there are many up and comers to watch in this one, the big names to look out for are Mayu Iwatani, defending world champ & 2025 tournament winner Miku Aono, and rising star Victoria Yuzuki.

This weekend’s busy schedule of action from England kicks off today with a show from women’s wrestling brand EVE. Live from the Big Penny Social in London, England, EVE promises that today’s show will mostly be a mystery. However, it has been announced that Joshi star Miyu Yamashita will defend her title against the recently returned ex-WWE name Kay Lee Ray, and that Marina Shafir will be in action. With loads of names in town for All In, I would imagine many big surprises are in store for today’s midday card.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown / 8 p.m. ET / USA Network

CM Punk’s reign as Undisputed WWE Champion lived to fight another day last week in Toronto, albeit once again via controversial fashion. Punk defeated the returning Kevin Owens on last week’s Smackdown, but not without some interference by Sami Zayn, who struck Owens with the title.

What does Punk make of that result, and what will he do with his title going forward? That’ll be the main focus of tonight’s Smackdown, a rare taped edition of the show airing on the USA Network.

It’s also a busy night for the women’s division on Smackdown. Jacy Jayne will defend her U.S. title against Paige, Tatum Paxley will get her Smackdown in-ring debut, and big names will mix up in a tag bout including women’s champ Chelsea Green.

While most of the AEW roster is over in England, Eddie Kingston is in Mexico this weekend as part of a CMLL tour. Wrestling in Arena Mexico for the first time in his career, Kingston will challenge Hechicero for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship in tonight’s main event. Tonight’s show also has a huge eight-man tag in the co-main event, featuring many stars who will be competing as part of the company’s upcoming anniversary show. Mistico, Ultimo Guerrero, Templario, and others will appear in that match.

Personally, I’m also looking forward to the CMLL vs. STARDOM tag match happening earlier in the night, as Joshi stars Maika, Mei Seira, and Ema Maishima have made the trip over to Mexico.

Evil Uno’s Mystery Wrestling brand will make its England debut tomorrow morning, streaming live on Youtube and Twitch with an early start for North American viewers. As is always the case with Mystery Wrestling, you don’t know who’s going to show up! Join Uno and comedian Ron Funches as they commentate over what should be a wild breakfast of action.

RevPro 14th Anniversary Show / 1 p.m. ET / MyAEW or RevPro OnDemand

Arguably the biggest show this weekend in England, other than, obviously, All In, would be RevPro’s 14th Anniversary card from the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England.

Tomorrow’s jumbo card is a mix of elite AEW names and prominent figures from the Britwres scene. They have put together many matches which I think could be a highlight of the entire weekend once it’s all said and done.

I might most be looking forward to FTR challenging Cowboy Way for the brand’s tag titles. Cowboy Way have been tearing up the European and American indies for years, and seeing them go against a great team like Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler could be amazing. I also have high hopes for the women’s title #1 contender scramble, as it has a mix of big UK names, including Kay Lee Ray, Rhio, Myla Grace, and Emersyn Jayne.

AEW Collision / 8 p.m. ET / TNT

AEW’s final bit of go-home TV ahead of All In, a taped edition of Collision from Scotland, will air tomorrow night on TNT. It’s definitely a more low-key show, with many matches being tune-ups for wrestlers involved in Sunday’s action. Women’s world title challenger Mercedes Moné will be in action, Konosuke Takeshita will wrestle ahead of his International title three-way, and before the pre-show’s trios title royale, four of the teams involved will come together for a gigantic 10-man tag match.

Along with all the All In news, we’ll also see the in-ring return of Harley Cameron against Skye Blue. Cameron had been out of the ring for a little over a month prior to coming back for this week’s Collision.

WWE will go head-to-head with AEW on Sunday, counter-programming All In with a pair of shows. Before the bigger NXT card later in the afternoon, the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, will play host to a special card from AAA. This one features a massive four-way showdown in the main event for the vacant Latin American title, dropped by El Hijo de Vikingo earlier this year due to injury. The War Raiders will face Los Americanos, Perros del Mal will meet the all-star team of Dragon Lee, Penta, Rey Fenix, and much more.

AEW All In: London / 1 p.m. ET / PPV

Arguably one of the biggest shows of the year for professional wrestling, AEW’s third-ever trip to Wembley Stadium in London, England, is set for Sunday. All In is scheduled to close out this weekend’s programming, presenting a stacked stadium show.

I know this show hasn’t received the type of build that many had hoped it would. I’m certainly among the group who expected a little more in the weeks leading up to this show. It sounds cliché to say this, but despite this, I am confident that Sunday’s show will still be one of the best wrestling cards of the year.

Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay continue their illustrious rivalry in the main event. Can Ospreay get it done, winning the world title in his home country? On the women’s side, a similarly long-lasting rivalry between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné will be reignited, continuing one of my favorite more recent storylines in AEW.

Lower on the card: Former allies Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, and Konosuke Takeshita will battle for the International title. Generational tag teams will meet when Cope & Cage face The Young Bucks. Kevin Knight and Darby Allin will likely provide the scariest spot of the night in a Falls Count Anywhere match. And who will show up in the Casino Gauntlet Match?

Looking at this lineup, it’s easy to forget about the show’s build issues and instead just get excited about what’s to come.

NXT Heatwave / 3 p.m. ET / The CW

The second half of WWE’s All In counterprogramming will be NXT Heatwave, taking place on the same day as AEW’s top pay-per-view for the second year in a row.

The main event of this show sees Tony D’Angelo attempt to fend off his NXT Championship against three of the brand’s latest arrivals: Ex-TNA champ Cruz Montana, returning main roster act Grayson Waller, and indie star turned NXT signing Zilla Fatu. These recent arrivals have honestly made the men’s division much more exciting in a time when most of NXT’s intriguing programs have come from the women’s side.

Kendal Grey will try to continue her electric title reign against Kelani Jordan, who is looking to prove that she should’ve been given a title shot years ago. Myles Borne will work double duty, trying to defend both his North American and Tag Team titles in the same night. And we’ll possibly say goodbye to the women’s Speed title, as it will be unified with the North American belt in a three-way showdown.
