WWE Fans in Japan Face Major Streaming Change From October Wrestling News Source – Latest WWE, AEW, Pro Wrestling News, AEW All In: London 2026 Results

Japanese streaming service ABEMA will stop showing WWE programming at the end of September.

ABEMA has been the home of WWE in Japan since 2023, streaming Raw, SmackDown and Premium Live Events. However, the platform has now confirmed that its WWE coverage will officially end on September 30, 2026.

The final WWE broadcast on ABEMA will be the September 29 episode of Raw.

In a statement posted on X/Twitter, ABEMA thanked wrestling fans for their support:

“Regarding the WWE content (RAW / SMACKDOWN / each PLE event) that has been streamed on ABEMA, the streaming will end as of September 30, 2026 (Wednesday). The final broadcast will be RAW on September 29 (Tuesday). We sincerely thank everyone who has watched WWE on ABEMA up until now. We appreciate your continued support for ABEMA.”

The announcement leaves a major question over where Japanese fans will be able to watch WWE from October.

Netflix already carries WWE programming in a number of international markets, leading to speculation that Japan could be next. However, there has been no official announcement confirming WWE’s new Japanese streaming home.
