Eddie Kingston to remain on CMLL’s Arena México card this Friday – POST Wrestling

Eddie Kingston was removed from AEW’s Continental Challenge Cup but is expected back in the ring later this week.

CMLL is promoting Kingston’s appearance at Arena México this Friday, where the AEW star is set to challenge Hechicero for the CMLL heavyweight championship.

Tony Khan stated that Kingston was out of the C3 during a “medical issue” with Daniel Garcia taking his place after winning a “play in” match against Adam Priest at ROH’s Death Before Dishonor.

Kingston last wrestled on August 8, defeating Jake Doyle in the opening round of the C3.

The CMLL heavyweight title match will headline this Friday’s card and will include Templario, Star Jr. & Dragon Rojo Jr. facing Último Guerrero, Zandokan Jr. & Bárbaro Cavernario, and Blue Panther facing Gran Guerrero in the top matches.
