Orange Cassidy vs. Kyle O’Reilly

Two members of The Conglomeration opened the show in the first of Saturday’s two Continental Challenge Cup quarterfinals.

O’Reilly offered a fist bump before Cassidy instead placed his sunglasses on him. The match then settled into an extended technical exchange, with both wrestlers countering holds before a lengthy sequence of alternating suplexes.

The pace increased as they traded strikes in the center of the ring. O’Reilly began attacking Cassidy’s ankle and repeatedly looked for the ankle lock.

Cassidy escaped the hold several times and hit a tornado DDT for two. He later attempted Beach Break, but O’Reilly caught his leg and returned to the ankle.

O’Reilly briefly considered stomping the damaged foot but stopped himself. Cassidy used the hesitation for a roll-up, only for O’Reilly to escape and immediately reapply the ankle lock with his legs wrapped around Cassidy.

Cassidy submitted, sending O’Reilly into the semifinals. The two acknowledged each other afterward.

Will Ospreay and Nigel McGuinness talk ahead of All In

Footage aired of Renee Paquette speaking with McGuinness while he received treatment for the leg injury sustained during his tournament run.

Ospreay entered looking for ice and told McGuinness how much his career had meant to a generation of British wrestlers.

Ospreay said he had more confidence in McGuinness winning the Continental Challenge Cup than he did in himself beating Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at All In.

McGuinness told him that was the problem. He said Ospreay had the opportunity to become the first British wrestler to win the AEW World Championship in England and needed to believe he could accomplish it.

Divine Dominion vs. Erica Leigh & Tiara James

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Megan Bayne and Lena Kross competed in a five-minute eliminator.

Bayne opened by suplexing both opponents simultaneously before Divine Dominion quickly took control.

The champions mocked All In challengers Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor by using the Brawling Birds’ Two Birds, One Stone.

Bayne deliberately broke up her own pin before she and Kross finished the match with a double chokeslam.

Jack Perry challenges Swerve Strickland

Perry responded to Strickland’s comments from the previous Collision, when Swerve told him he was not yet ready to compete at the level of AEW’s former world champions.

Perry said he respected Strickland enough to think about the words for a week.

Noting his Scottish heritage, Perry challenged Strickland to meet him in Glasgow and ended the promo with, “Kill or be killed.”

AEW subsequently confirmed Swerve Strickland vs. Jack Perry for Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Daniel Garcia

Garcia replaced Eddie Kingston in the tournament after AEW announced Friday that Kingston had not been medically cleared.

Garcia earned the spot by defeating Adam Priest in a play-in match at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Castagnoli controlled much of the early going with his strength, but Garcia grew more confident as the match continued and repeatedly went to the sleeper hold.

Garcia’s ankle, which had been injured before the match, became a target after it buckled during an exchange.

He nevertheless continued fighting and at one point hit Castagnoli with his own Neutralizer for a near fall.

Castagnoli responded by attacking the leg more aggressively. He removed Garcia’s boot and used a single-leg Giant Swing before hitting an uppercut.

After a deadlift powerbomb, Castagnoli applied a submission while torquing the injured ankle, forcing Garcia to tap.

A blind draw later paired Castagnoli with Moxley in the semifinals, ensuring that one Death Rider will advance to the tournament final.

The other semifinal will feature O’Reilly against McGuinness.

Gabe Kidd puts The Dogs in the Trios title picture

A video aired featuring Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors and David Finlay.

Kidd criticized the group’s recent results in his absence and said The Dogs needed to return to being killers.

He then made clear that they intend to enter the AEW World Trios Championship picture at All In.

Hurt Syndicate & Lee Moriarty in action

Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin again teamed with ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty.

Benjamin and Lashley dominated the early portion but continued showing little interest in treating Moriarty as an equal partner. Benjamin bypassed him on an attempted tag, while Lashley later tagged him in aggressively before the Hurt Syndicate left ringside.

Moriarty finished Matt Mako with the Border City Stretch.

Shane Taylor then praised Moriarty’s Pure Championship reign and issued an open challenge on behalf of Shane Taylor Promotions.

Bang Bang Gang answered.

Bang Bang Gang vs. Shane Taylor Promotions

Jay White and The Gunns faced Shane Taylor, Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean in an impromptu trios match.

STP isolated Austin Gunn before Colten received the tag and cleared out Bravo and Dean.

Taylor’s size briefly halted their momentum, but the Gunns eventually hit 3:10 to Yuma on him.

White followed with the Blade Runner on Bravo for the pin.

White spoke afterward about his loss to Moxley in the Continental Challenge Cup and turned his attention to the Trios division.

He noted that he and The Gunns never lost the AEW World Trios Championship in the ring, having been stripped after White suffered an injury, and said Bang Bang Gang intended to reclaim the titles.

Kyle O’Reilly looks ahead to Nigel McGuinness

O’Reilly spoke with The Conglomeration after advancing.

He said the tournament had already forced him to wrestle two close friends in Roderick Strong and Cassidy, but he was now one victory away from the final.

O’Reilly said he would not allow McGuinness to prevent him from reaching All In.

Tommaso Ciampa & Nick Wayne vs. Mike Bailey & Komander

All four wrestlers are slated for the Casino Gauntlet at All In.

Bailey and Komander used their speed to control portions of the match, including simultaneous dives onto Ciampa and Wayne.

Komander later hit Wayne with a springboard Canadian Destroyer for two.

Wayne accidentally struck Ciampa during the closing stretch, but Ciampa recovered and attempted to remove Komander’s mask.

Bailey stopped him, only for the distraction to allow Wayne to hit the Prodigy Plex on Komander for the pin.

Ciampa shoved Wayne down after the bell, adding another sign of tension between them.

Death Riders react to semifinal draw

Wheeler Yuta complained backstage about Moxley and Castagnoli being paired together.

Moxley told him to shut up and left.

Castagnoli then asked Yuta, “Sucks for who?”

When Yuta asked Garcia about his injured ankle, Garcia replied, “It sucks.”

Willow Nightingale vs. Maya World

TBS Champion Maya World challenged Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship in Saturday’s main event.

World had received the opportunity after Nightingale promised her a shot before becoming champion.

Willow used her power advantage early, but World increased the pace and sent the champion outside before connecting with a crossbody.

Nightingale answered with a pounce and later hit a shotgun dropkick and cannonball.

World came close to the championship after hitting a bridging fallaway slam. Willow escaped at two.

Both women exchanged strikes and pinning combinations in the final stretch. Nightingale eventually caught World with a backslide and held her down for three.

The victory gives Willow a successful defense heading toward All In, where Mercedes Moné is scheduled to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
