In 2025, heat and tension between friends Bayley & Lyra Valkyria led to a two-out-of-three falls match full of splendid work, mind games, intelligence, and more, fighting for the right to challenge for the Intercontinental Title which added stakes and importance to proceedings.

They got nearly 20 minutes of TV time to tell their story and deliver the goods, with Valkyria standing tall.

Bayley Vs. Becky Lynch Vs. Lyra Valkyria (WWE Evolution 2025)

At the second Evolution PLE, Becky Lynch defended the Intercontinental Championship against Bayley & Lyra Valkyria in a match that featured incredible technical prowess, tensions shows between all three, and a crowd that went crazy for what they were seeing.

All women were kept involved throughout the whole contest, prompting a lot of three-person spots and sequences that were all knitted together well. There might not have been a whole load of storytelling on offer, but the technical work was brilliant, all ending with one of the smoothest backslides you’ll see as Lynch escaped with her gold.

Bayley Vs. Charlotte Flair Vs. Becky Lynch Vs. Sasha Banks (NXT TakeOver: Rival 2015)

The “Four Horsewomen” of WWE collided in a memorable fatal four way at NXT TakeOver: Rival back in 2015, battling over the NXT Women’s Championship in a fast-paced, chaotic, and vastly enjoyable clash.

All four women got a chance to shine in this one, with a hugely invested audience elevating the action greatly. Some moments were a little overchoreographed due to the number of bodies involved, but this didn’t halt the excitement at seeing Sasha Banks steal the gold, getting the better of Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch.

Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks (WWE Hell In A Cell 2020)

Bayley and Sasha Banks put together an inventive, innovative, and physical Hell In A Cell match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in 2020, showcasing their natural chemistry in a terrific bout. Despite this being a match of the year contender at the time, it has aged negatively in some aspects due to the fact that there were zero fans in attendance.

As good as in-ring work was between these two rivals, the lack of a crowd creates a strange, peculiar atmosphere when watching back. The match was still tremendous, with Banks winning the gold from Bayley being a nice moment.

One of the more unsung matches in the history of Bayley & Sasha Banks came on an episode of RAW back in 2017, with the two managing to get the crowd firmly onside as they went back-and-forth, providing a taste of their classic matches from the past.

The match was intense, featured an authentic-feeling struggle as they brawled, attempted submissions, hit finishers, and more, until Bayley reversed a pinfall attempt and secured a crowd-popping victory.

Bayley Vs. Iyo Sky (WWE WrestleMania 40 Sunday)

After a strong feud ahead of WrestleMania 40, Iyo Sky and Bayley battled for the WWE Women’s Title in a match that had a big fight feel, with the two trading wonderfully executed offense, supreme psychology thanks to Bayley’s selling of her knee, and a crowd who elevated the bout to the next level.

With a very positive pace, athleticism, and heat that had been built thanks to their storyline, Bayley’s win and crowning of the WWE Women’s Championship was one of the best moments of WrestleMania 40.

Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks (NXT TakeOver: Respect 2015)

In the first ever women’s main event of any major WWE event (both main roster and NXT), Bayley and Sasha Banks tore the house down in a 30-minute Iron Woman match for the NXT Women’s Championship. Banks’ heel work was off the charts in this contest, even making children cry in the crowd, while Bayley’s babyface energy was world class.

On top of their flawless in-ring action, these two told a tremendous story which took full advantage of the Iron Woman stipulation. Bayley’s win brought a thunderous reaction from the crowd, retaining the belt.

At NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 2015, Bayley and Sasha Banks made history by putting on what is still considered to be the greatest women’s match in the history of WWE. The in-ring work was smooth, crisp, and full of intensity, with both women putting in an all-timer performance.

In front of an electric audience, Banks & Bayley put in an unbelievable heel and babyface performance respectively, creating emotion and struggle throughout. Banks’ work targeting Bayley’s hand and arm made for a stellar final few minutes, all leading to a wild poisonrana and Bayley-To-Belly to hand Bayley a crowd-pleading win.
