Another member of the Mysterio family reportedly starts with WWE

After Rey and Dominik Mysterio, another member of the wrestling family has reportedly started with WWE.

A few days ago, it was noted that Rey Mysterio’s daughter Aalyah Mysterio, aka Aalyah Gutierrez, was joining the WWE Performance Center.

Now, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Gutierrez has started at the WWE Performance Center and is also listed on the internal roster. She is listed under her real name, Aalyah Gutierrez. According to the report, this is common for the new recruits as they await WWE to assign them their in-ring name.

She was also recently photographed alongside Lexis King (son of Brian Pillman), Marie Malenko (daughter of Dean Malenko), Uriah Connors (son of Fit Finlay), Avery Styles (son of AJ Styles) and Brooks Jensen (son of Bull Buchanan) on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026. The photo was uploaded by King during the ongoing Avery Styles-GCW situation.

Neither WWE nor Mysterio has officially announced that their daughter is beginning her WWE journey. While not performed as an in-ring talent before, she has appeared on-screen in the past.

Rey Mysterio discusses daughter’s WWE future

A few months ago, during Mysterio’s appearance on What Do You Wanna Talk About?, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed his daughter’s wrestling career.

“So I said, ‘Okay, the next step would be, let’s see if you can go through a full week of training. And if you can do that and you like it afterwards, then maybe it’s something you might want to think about.’ I’m actually trying to get her out there pretty soon so she can just feel what it’s like to train every day,” Mysterio said. “Wake up, work out all day, sleep, back, same thing, That’s insane. Like, I’ve thought about that and it scares me, but it also excites me.”

Before reportedly signing with the WWE Performance Center, Mysterio graduated from the University of California San Diego last year with a degree in human biology.
