Jim Ross took to social media one day before he is scheduled to undergo brain surgery. “Thanks for the outpouring of support regarding my upcoming brain surgery,” Ross wrote on Tuesday. “A hole will be drilled in my skull, and a small tube will be inserted reachinto [sic] my stomach to better manage/drain excess brain fluid. I’m optimistic. Thanks to all.” See his Tweet below or via Ross’s Twitter/X page.

Powell’s POV: It was an honor to interview JR on multiple occasions and I’m beyond grateful for the exposure he gave this website during the early years. Here’s wishing him the best of luck along with prayers for full recovery for my favorite play-by-play voice of all time.
